The Story So Far
We’re halfway through the year already! Where did spring go?
It seems like the seasons are just flying by–but with five stories published so far, at least I’ve been keeping busy.

I had two stories appear in Weird Fiction Quarterly so far this year: Winter Red, in the Monsters 2024 edition in February and Wanting, in the Folk Horror 2024 edition in May. Since WFQ requires every story to be exactly 500 words long, writing for it is both a challenge and a delight.
May proved to be a busy month. In addition to Wanting in WFQ, my vampire story And You, Their Best Beloved appeared in Dracula Beyond Stoker Issue 4: The Brides of Dracula, and my cosmic horror dragon tale Come Not Between appeared in the anthology Here There Be Dragons.
And then in June, my flash story Needs Must was a runner up in Tales to Terrify’s recent contest on the theme of secret societies. Now it lives on Episode 645 for your listening pleasure.

The second half of the year should see a few more stories out in the world, and hopefully some bigger news to share as well.
